I discovered mindfulness practice in 2014 having been through a period of difficulty and change, and not knowing where my life was taking me. I still don’t know where my life is taking me, but now I’m ok with not knowing! I have a daily meditation practice which is a great resource in helping me experience my life.
I am a member of the Mindfulness Association and have completed a number of their certificated courses including mindfulness and compassion based living. My mindfulness and meditation practices are a cornerstone in my life, keeping me steady in a crazy world. I also go on retreat once or twice a year with a Buddhist teacher to nurture and replenish myself. Paying attention to my personal care and wellbeing is essential for me to be able to do this therapeutic work.
